online or in-person, this appointment is designed to track your health progress and for reassessment of your health profile and new health related needs. Healthcare plans can be readjusted if needed and new ones may be generated depending on your health profile. a follow-up appointment is usually recommended to determine the efficacy of your current plan, and all subsequent follow-up appointments, if needed, are available for continued check-in on health profile and goals, or for new concerns. please note that Dr. Aycho, ND, may request an online to be in-person depending on the nature of concern(s).

acupuncture and cupping initial consultation
in-person only, this appointment is designed for those who are solely interested in acupuncture treatment for pain and physical conditions. During the initial consult, a health history and physical examination will be performed, alongside assessment of your area(s) of concern. cupping therapy may be considered for certain concerns. Your initial consultation will include your first acupuncture treatment. during appointment booking, please indicate your area(s) of concern prior to appointment.

in-person only, these appointments are designed for continued treatment of your area(s) of concern, for re-evaluation of pain and health profile, and for any new area of concern. Cupping therapy may be considered for certain concerns.

check-in/changes in health profile
online or telephone, this appointment is designed for urgent questions or changes in your health profile that you may feel need to be immediately addressed. This appointment includes any adjustments to your current healthcare plan. If necessary, an in-person appointment may be recommended when you are next available. If your concern is a medical emergency, please call 911 or attend the nearest hospital to you.

facial rejuvenation (cosmetic) acupuncture appointments
a technique that involves the insertion of thin needles into areas of the face to promote collagen production, facial elasticity, increase muscle tone, and improve the circulation of blood and lymphatics. This technique helps to rejuvenate facial tissue, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and reduce signs of aging. Sessions include a custom cosmetic acupuncture protocol, facial cupping and gua sha. The recommended protocol is 2 sessions per week for 3 weeks, 1 session per week for 6 weeks, and then once per month ongoing for maintenance OR 1 session per week for 12 weeks, and then once per month ongoing for maintenance. Everyone is different, and after an initial intake we will be able to provide an individualized treatment suggestion.

urgent care appointments
online or in-person, urgent care visits are for non-life threatening health concerns ONLY and each visit is meant for ONE concern. Appointments run 10-15 minutes in length. These appointments are not suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
urgent care visits are designed for basic treatment, symptom relief and basic prevention (when applicable) of common discomforts (cold, flu, sinusitis, yeast infection, urinary tract infections, and allergies). For more comprehensive plans and lifestyle assessments, please book an adult or paediatric initial consultation. Depending on your presentation, an initial consult may be recommended.
